Why ?

Trans Fats from processed food, are “partially hydrogenated oils’ ..In fact they are now illegal in the US.


They raise you bad cholesterol (LDL) and lower your good (HDL) cholesterol. 

The processed versions of trans fats are cheap to make and have a long shelf life, therefore cheap to get to consumer and really bad for your arteries and heart. 

Check the food label of any processed foods you buy is a good way to start.
